Tirupati Govindaraja Swamy Temple Shut With An Employee Testing Positive

The authorities have called for the closure of the temple for two days as a precautionary measure and the temple premises will be disinfected thoroughly before getting reopened on the 14th of June.
A sanitary inspector working at the temple who was tested as a regular check-up was tested positive and the same was confirmed by the temple authorities.
He was shifted to a special hospital dedicated to treating the pandemic patient and as a result eight of the TTD employees were sent to lazaretto after they came in contact with him.
