Recently all got shocked by hearing the news about director shankar as he will be going to direct Kamal in his next movie and adding to the surprise here one more news we have.
Director Shankar has been nominated by Film Federation to be a part of the 16 member jury of the Oscar Screening Committee, which will select the India's official entry at the Oscar 2013. The committee needs to finalize the India's official entry at the Oscars 2013 from various film industries in the country.
Shankar made revolutionary movies like sriramulayya,encounter,jayam manadera and jai bolo telangana. ShankarÂ’s films have won Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards, he was also elected to be a member in the Jury for the 51st National Film Awards for 2003
Shankar shared his happiness to be a part of the screening committee. “I feel privileged to have been nominated for the responsibility. I'm looking forward to watching the best movies made in the country in the last year," said the director,
The selection committee comprising of filmmakers, artistes and technicians from all over the country will be viewing films nominated from India, on September 17, in Hyderabad.
Telugu movie Mithunam and Aadi Shankar Chaaraya also referred for the screening committee .LetÂ’s see how hard our director will raise his voice on telugu movies.
