Great News: Sonia requests PM @ Seemandhra!

As per the official info, AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi requested Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to grant special category status to residual Andhra Pradesh (Seemandhra) for a period of 5 Years.
Of course, This is the first ever contribution of Italian Gandhi ever since the issue of Telangana was cleared by the Congress Working Committee.
Political Analysts look at it as a damage control measure in the wake of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and several other Congress leaders submitting their resignations in protest against the bifurcation of state without addressing the concerns of Seemandhra. Due to the biased decision, Congress is going to suffer in Seemandhra for several years to come. How far this latest proposal from Sonia Gandhi could calm down the tempers of Seemandhra region is to be seen.
Telangana Bill is likely to be tabled in Rajya Sabha on February 20th and it is expected to be passed with/without discussion just like it happened in Lok Sabha.
