Greater Toronto thanks Modi for vaccine doses with billboards

Canada is one of the nations that received vaccine doses from India. As a bid to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several billboards were erected in Canada's Greater Toronto area.
On the billboard, Greater Toronto thanked Modi for providing the vaccine doses to Canada. The matter written on the billboard had also mentioned that the friendship between Canada and India should live long.
"Thank You India and PM Narendra Modi for providing COVID vaccines to Canada. Long Live Canada-India Friendship," the matter written Billboard reads.
India provided the 500,000 AstraZeneca's CoviShield coronavirus doses to Canada on March 4, manufactured at Pune's Serum Institute of India. Canada will receive 1.5 million doses of vaccine soon.
Earlier, the World Health Organization too thanked India and Modi for supporting other nations. WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus urged the other nations to follow India's example in vaccine equity.
