In Talk: Groom Travels In Metro For Wedding!

Kochi Metro Rail has come to the rescue of Ranjith Kumar and Dhanya who wished to get married on December 23rd this year.
On the Wedding Day, Ranjith Kumar's Family started their journey from Palakkad at 6 am to reach Ernakulam in Kerala. It was supposed to take 3-and-a-half hours to cover the 130-km distance. However, The journey got delayed due to traffic issues and they could only cover 100 km by 11 am. Upon witnessing a huge traffic jam at Aluva, They decided to prefer Metro Rail to reach the venue in time.
Quickly, The Groom & his Family rushed to Aluva Metro Station but found a huge crowd at the ticket counter. Then, Ranjith Kumar explained to the people in the queue to allow him take the ticket as he need to reach the mandap on time. That's when the family got what they wanted and boarded the Metro Rail.
On the Facebook Page of Kochi Metro, A Video explaining the Story of how Kochi Metro saved Ranjith and Dhanya's wedding was posted. Kochi Metro had provided 'Kochi One' Card and a Smartcard allowing cashless travel & exclusive entry into metro trains to the newlywed couple.
