Gully Boy Doesn't Get An Oscar Nod!

Many thought as Gully Boy movie talks about Indian slums and has good music, will win hearts of Oscar jury just like Slumdog Millionaire or at least will have a shot at it.
But Gully Boy failed to impress the Oscar jury and it did not find a place in Top 10 even. Last time, Indian film that went into Top 5 is Lagaan.
The movie is said to have lost Oscar with one to two votes. It got nominated for the award. Previously, Salaam Bombay and Mother India went upto nominations.
Indian director, Satyajit Rey won Honorary Oscar for his contribution to cinema. His Apu trilogy made him world famous and many consider those films as classics.
Well, Ranveer Singh might win awards for his performance as Gully Boy, this year at Filmfare Awards and Screen Awards, as he literally faces no competition.
