Guntur & Krishna tops Liquor Consumption

After Thullur was announced as the ideal location for New Capital, Everyone expected a rapid pace in Krishna & Guntur Districts. Apart from Real Estate activity, Record growth of Liquor Sales has been reported in the past one-and-a-half year.
As per statistics, Liquor Consumption has grown by a big margin in Guntur and Krishna districts. In 2013-14 & 2014-15, There is only 1 percent & 0.84 percent growth in liquor consumption in Krishna district. But, A growth of 10.02 percent was recorded for the fiscal 2015-16.
In Guntur district, 3.85 growth was recorded in 2014-15 for the financial year 2013-14. For 2015-16, The growth rate is upto 12.35 percent.
Both Krishna and Guntur crossed the Districts which are known for high liquor consumption in the past one-and-a-half year. Should we feel proud of this achievement?
