The ongoing pandemic originated from the Dragon country China which left high-profile people, celebrities, lawmakers, and public representatives infected with the contagious disease resulted in a district collector testing positive for the disease.
Going into detail, Guntur district Collector I Samuel Anand Kumar who worked on the field to contain the spread of the respiratory disease in the district developed symptoms of the virus.
After developing positive symptoms of the virus, the Collector underwent for the pandemic tests. With the test results showing mild symptoms doctors advised him to observe home-lazaretto.
The authorities closed the Collector chamber for sanitization works. Earlier, several government officers including joint collector, district health officer tested positive for the virus.
