Guntur TDP leaders keep away from Amaravati protests
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 Aug 2020 3:05 AM GMTWhere are all the TDP motor-mouths in Guntur? The Telugu Desam leaders from Guntur are known for their hyper activism and readiness to shoot of their mouth. During the last regime, leaders from Guntur were in the forefront in attacking the YSRCP. Most of these leaders are now silent.
Leaders like Prattipati Pulla Rao, Dhulipala Narendra, Yarapatineni Srinivas Rao and Kommalapati Sridhar had played a key role in the TDP regime. One would find them leading the charge both in the assembly and outside. But, these days, all these leaders are busy with their businesses. They are devoting more time for personal issues rather than political issues. Ever since his son was targeted with ED cases on Navayuga business house, Prattipati Pulla Rao has started setting his house in order.
Despite the Amaravati issue, none of the TDP biggies from the district are found to be active. There are no major agitations outside the Amaravati region. It clearly appears that these leaders are not enthused by the Amaravati issue.
Only Nakka Anand Babu and Alapati Raja are politically active in the TDP these days and are seen issuing an occasional press note or addressing some press conferences.
