BJP National Spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao breathed fire on TDP Government over the irregularities in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme. 'How can Rs 2,400 can be charged for square feet in rural areas? Even Delhi or Amaravati won't be so costly? Only TDP Activists were sanctioned houses in Chandrababu Naidu's rule. If the poor seeking Houses, Bribes has been charges from them to make them beneficiaries of the Housing scheme,' he alleged.
GVL Narasimha Rao pointed out AP Government completed only 43,000 out of 7 lakh houses sanctioned by Centre. He questioned, 'Is this what No.1 Governance & 40 Years Experience mean? PM Modi launched this scheme with the goal of housing for all by 2022. Whereas, TDP Government has made misuse of the resources'.
The Rajya Sabha Member clarified not even a single bill related to Polavaram Project is pending with Centre. He held TDP Government responsible for the delay in approval of Kadapa Steel Plant and enacting dramas to hide it's role.
