H-1B Visa Policy: 59 US CEOs Not Happy!
X
CEOs of the leading American Firms warn that Immigration Policies of Trump Administration poses a threat to the US Economy. As many as 59 CEOs signed the letter faulting the H-1B visa policy of the White House.

In a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, The Business Roundtable maintained restricting access to talent when the number of job vacancies are reaching historic highs due to labour shortages isn't appreciable. It appealed Trump Administration to rethink about the recent directives that put the status of workers into doubt and hurt the recruitment of talent.

The Business Rountable represents majority of the leading US Companies. The letter was signed by Apple's Tim Cook, IBM's Ginni Rometty, JPMorgan Chase's Jamie Dimon, Marriott's Arne Sorenson and Coca-Cola's James Quincey. They found fault with USCIS over inconsistent determinations which cost H-1B Visa extension for those who have been successfully permitted for years. Executives felt it's not a wise decision to change the policies in the middle of a process.
