Halloween Event Turns Disaster, Over 150 People Passed Away!

Halloween is one of the most popular festivals in the world and the festival is believed to be at least a thousand years old. It is said that people wear different costumes and lit bonfires to send the spirits back that are believed to be the souls of dead family members.
The festival is slowly spreading its wings and countries like India are also celebrating Halloween. But a Halloween event turned disaster with over 150 attendees breathing last due to a stampede-like situation. Several others sustained injuries.
Reports say that thousands of people attended the Halloween event and the area where the event was held had narrow roads making it tough for the people to come out. Mostly the teenagers attended the event and were trapped there.
South Korea’s President Yoon Suk-yeol reacted to the sad news and said that what happened is really painful and offered his condolences to the victims. Talking about the injured victims, the President said that he is praying for the speedy recovery of the victims.
Having offered a period of national mourning for the deceased on Sunday, the South Korean President said that the tragic incident where over 150 people lost their last should have not happened.
Though nothing is confirmed yet, it is said that a heroine reportedly visited the event, and to have a glimpse of her people might have come together at once and caused the disaster. Though a few media reports said this is a reason there is no official confirmation on this from the President or concerned authorities.
After the disaster, the Fire department was informed about this and the personnel reached the spot. After the rescue, the authorities said over 150 dead bodies were identified and several others were found injured. The injured victims were sent to the hospital for treatment.
The government said that the issue is painful and called for a detailed investigation. Once the concerned authorities submit the details we will know more details about the mishap. People across the globe are shocked by this and are waiting for the report to be made public soon.
