Bollywood star Salman Khan defended 1993 Mumbai Blasts convict Yakub Memon who would be hanged on 30th of July 2015.

In a series of tweets, Salman Khan opined Yakub Memon is innocent and punishing him for his brother Tiger Memon's crimes is nothing but killing humanity. He said Tiger Memon don't deserve the name 'Tiger' as he is hiding like a cat when his brother is getting killed. He dared to demand parading and hanging of Tiger Memon for the unpardonable crimes.

The 49-Year-Old Actor said he was scared to speak about this sensitive issue and it took him 3 days to gain the courage to speak out.

Yakub Memon was found guilty of plotting 1993 Mumbai blasts and supplying explosives. Among 11 convicts, He is the only one whose mercy petition was rejected. He has been in prison for the past two decades. Yakub always claimed he is unaware of the conspiracy chalked out by his brother Tiger Memon and Dawood Ibrahim.
