Mighty blow to BJP in Gujarat

The suspense over the alliance of Hardik Patel-led PAAS and Congress for upcoming Assembly Polls in Gujarat has finally ended. They decided to contest together in next month's election.
Patel Community comprise of 14 percent voters in Gujarat. PAAS (Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti) headed by Hardik Patel has been fighting for reservations.
While PAAS demanded 12 Seats for alliance with Congress, The National Party offered to give just one seat. Although Hardik Patel says he doesn't want any seats, He did remain firm on the stand that Patel Community must get proper representation in Gujarat Assembly. Despite differences with Congress, Hardik Patel decided to support it to oust BJP from power at least after 22 years.
Alliance between PAAS and Congress gonna hurt the prospects of BJP in Gujarat. 1/3rd of sitting BJP MLAs are from Patel Community & that shows how crucial votes of this caste is gonna be for any party to win.
Gujarat Assembly Polls happen from December 9th to 14th. Counting of votes will be on December 18th, 2017.
