Very soon, NDA Government's Pradhan Mantri Awas Yogana might have a divine beneficiary. Uttar Pradesh MP Hari Narayana Rajbhar sought a house for Lord Rama under the Housing Scheme citing the diety was living in a tent. He was referring to the makeshift sanctorum of Ram Idol installed at the disputed Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid Site in Ayodhya.
The Parliamentarian from Ghosi has written to Ayodhya DM for helping Lord Rama get a house for himself under the Housing Scheme. What can be said about the strange request?
Seems like, BJP Leaders have been going to the extremes for consolidation of the Hindu vote bank. Few weeks ago, UP CM Yogi Adityanath made a bizarre claim that Hanuman is a Dalit. And now, It has come to the extent of seeking a house for Lord Rama under Government Scheme.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yogana is intended to provide affordable housing for all by 2022. As many as 6.5 million houses have been sanctioned already.
