Irrigation Minister Harish Rao sees a conspiracy behind TDP contesting in the Telangana Assembly Polls. 'The agenda is to gain a foothold in Telangana so as to be a partner in power. If that happens, Chandrababu would certainly try to put the interests of AP ahead of the requirements of Telangana,' he cautioned public.
Harish Rao appealed Telangana People to question the TDP Leaders who visit their constituencies for campaigning about the letters Chandrababu Naidu had written to Centre for stalling their Irrigation Projects. He also released copies of letters written by TDP Government opposing irrigation projects in Telangana.
The TRS Strongman questioned why AP CM Chandrababu Naidu refused to supply electricity as per AP Reorganisation Act 2014. He asked CBN to explain why he opposed Kaleshwaram project, Palamuru-Ranga Reddy and Kalwakurthy Lift Irrigation Projects. Harish Rao pointed out the attempts made by Naidu to deny water from Srisailam reservoir to Telangana. He questioned AP CM why he took up construction of irrigation projects without the consent of Telangana.
