Harish Shankar takes inspiration from his Guru

Ever since 'Ramayya Vastavayya' hit the screens, Film Lovers are of the feeling that Harish Shankar has taken inspiration from his guru Ram Gopal Varma while designing the role of the antagonist.

Ravi Shankar's Bikshapati role in 'Ramayya Vastavayya' has a close resemblance to Abhimanyu Singh's Bukka Reddy in Raktha Charitra. Both of them are perverts and very intense, solely aimed at people in the mass circuits. Interestingly, Ravi Shankar and Abhimanyu Singh have done a remarkable job.

Ravi Shankar is now the most sought after character artiste/villain and filmmakers have been offering him significant roles. Despite making his entry only in the second half and having a very limited screen time in 'Ramayya Vastavayya', he created a good impact to send the feeling Tollywood have found a replacement for Srihari very soon.

Can Ravi Shankar live up to the expectations? One solid hit could bring him the required good fortune. It's a matter of time!
