Gandhi Family To Face More Problems In Haryana

The Gandhi family faced a super jolt in Haryana state, with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) stepped in to probe into the assets that are linked to the family trusts of the Nehru-Gandhi family.
The new development came after the Haryana government led by Manohar Lal Khattar asking the Haryana urban local bodies department to probe into the assets of the family trusts.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED)will mainly focus on the foreign donations that are received by the three trusts- Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, and Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust.
Some media reports claim that back then between 2004 and 2014 when the Congress-led Bhupendra Singh Hooda government these trusts acquired many assets and received foreign donations.
It has been widely reported that Haryana Chief Secretary(CS) wrote to additional chief secretaries to look into the properties and other assets that are linked to the family assets.
