Speaker And Two MLAs Test Pandemic Positive

In what it could be a shocker, days ahead of the Monsoon sessions, Haryana Assembly Speaker, and two lawmakers tested positive for the novel Coronavirus today.
Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij confirmed the same and said Assembly speaker Gian Chand Gupta and two BJP MLAs, Aseem Goel and Ram Kumar contacted the coronavirus.
It has been widely reported, that apart from speaker and MLAs six staff members at Haryana state Assembly also tested positive for the contagious disease.
Speaker Gian Chand Gupta took to Micro-blogging site Twitter and said he underwent the COVID-19 tests on Sunday and the test reports declared him positive for the virus. He Tweeted in Hindi.
The Speaker added that his health condition is ok and going by the advice of doctors, he is following home-isolation. He urged the people who came in contact with him to undergo pandemic tests.
With Gian Chand Gupta following observing home-isolation at his residence, Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa will preside over the monsoon sessions.
