Has Kanna Gone Into Depression?

Former AP BJP chief Kanna Lakshminarayana is said to be suffering a bout of depression. Ever since the BJP made Somu Veerraju president of the state unit, Kanna is said to be in deep depression. Sources say he feels cheated by the BJP leadership.
In fact, Kanna was all set to join the YSRCP. He was promised a party ticket to contest elections from Pedakurapadu and four of his key supporters were promised important nominated posts. But, a last minute call from Amit Shah made him change his plans and stay back in the BJP. He was then made the president of the party. Even detractors say Kanna had worked very hard to build the party. He had toured incessantly and tried to mobilize the votes.But the party performed poorly. Kanna feels he should have been given another term.
'Had I been in the YSRCP, I would have by now become a minister and would have had four or five of my strong supporters as heads of some corporations. The BJP has finished off my political career, ' he is said to be telling his supporters, who are coming to meet him.
