Has KCR changed his working style after Munugode elections?
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Dec 2022 8:08 AM GMTSince Munugode bypoll, there is a perceptible change in Chief Minister KCR. Earlier, he used to visit Pragathi Bhavan only for a couple of times in a week and used to spend most of the time in his Erravelli farmhouse. But now he is rarely going to the farmhouse and is spending more time in the Pragathi Bhavan.
More importantly, he has begun giving appointments to his party MLAs. Several MLAs have secured appointments and have met KCR. They reportedly discussed the party's position in their areas and have apprised him of their concerns about developmental works. Earlier, the Pragathi Bhavan security personnel used to turn the MLAs away.
Sources say that the tough and hard-earned victory in Munugode, which made the party biggies huff and puff and sweat it out, has made him realise that there is a definite anti-incumbency that is building up against the TRS. It is also abundantly clear that immediate corrective measures are needed to remedy the situation.
Sources say that KCR also realises that some of his MLAs are looking sideways. Some MLAs are clearly in touch with the BJP national leadership, while others are knocking the Congress doors. Hence, KCR has changed his working style and has become more accessible to the party leaders and the MLAs. Let's wait and see how this change of style works out for the party in the days to come.
