Has KCR stops criticising Modi, but continues attacking BJP?

It appears that there is some change in KCR's approach towards opposition unity against Narendra Modi and the BJP. Before going to Mumbai to meet Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackery and NCP chief Sharad Pawar, he was belligerent and unrelenting on Modi. But after the visit, his criticism is focused on only the BJP and not Modi.
Ever since he returned from Maharashtra, KCR has clearly toned down his rhetoric against Modi. While his tirade against the BJP continues, he has stopped openly slamming Modi.
There was a criticism that He was focusing more on Modi and that any criticism of Modi will only prove counter-productive. Since Modi's approval ratings are still quite high, criticising him could actually boomerang.
During his recent speech at Mallanna Sagar, KCR went soft on Modi. Those in the know say that he was perhaps advised by both NCP and Uddhav Thackeray against personally targeting Modi. In fact, any criticism of Modi has only strengthened his position in the elections and has helped his party.
Even Harish Rao has stopped targeting Modi. Leaders like Mamta Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal too have been only criticising the policies of the party and not Modi. It appears KCR has learnt his lesson and has stopped attacking Modi.
