You may have heard about different types of Yogas, but ever heard of costly yoga?Sounds different then read the below.Taking a break from the day-to-day administrative grind, Andhra Pradesh ministers along with CBN, IAS, IPS, IFS and other officials will be having 3-day crash course on “Inner Engineering - for joyful living” being organised by Isha Foundation.
Around 300 people will take part in the 3-day program run by spiritual guru Jaggi Vasudev. Government is spending huge money for the event.The yoga-cum-art of leading a skilful life programme costs the state exchequer a whopping Rs 1.8 crore.Single idli, a banana and a cup of milk costs Rs 450. An ordinary bland curry, rice - Rs 1350. Breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks were served not only to families of ministers and officials but also their personal secretaries, drivers and others. The first day itself costs Rs 9 lakh per day excluding food.
Recently AP govt issued stop payments orders for all the department citing lack of funds. But this expense has been sanctioned to ‘improve the work efficiency.’
