By: Tupaki Desk | 27 May 2020 6:50 AM GMTThe Telangana High Court slammed the state government for a low rate of tests for the virus and directed the government to conduct virus tests for the dead bodies to detect the reason for their deaths.
The Court also ruled out to conduct tests to diagnosis the virus before handing over the dead bodies to their family members. While ruling out the court set aside proceedings issued by the Public Health and Family Welfare Director to not collect samples from the dead bodies for the tests.
The constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chouhan which heard the PIL on the count of tests ruled out to submit a comprehensive report on the tests conducted to detect the virus between May 1st to May 25th and on what parameters the state changed the belt of the virus.
The bench maintained that along with taking precautionary measures the count of the tests should also be increased. The next hearing of the case was postponed to June 4th.
