HC Puts Deadline for GHMC Elections

Telangana CM KCR is very cautiously making his moves keeping in view of upcoming GHMC elections. Now the high court announced deadline for the elctions.
The joint High Court at Hyderabad directed the Telangana government to conduct elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) before 31 January 2016.
The court announced its decision after hearing a petition filed by a person on the delay in conducting GHMC elections.The court issued orders to complete all the preparations for elections by December 15 and the election process by January 31.
All parties are taking the election very seriously. TRS is putting all the efforts to bag maximum seats as they feel it as referendum of KCR rule. Although, TDP and BJP are alliance partners, they are not sure whether to contest these elections jointly or separately.
