HE is the First Speaker of AP

Former Minister Kodela Siva Prasada Rao is going to be sworn as first Speaker of Andhra Pradesh legislative Assembly on June 20th. He is currently representing Sattenapalli constituency in Guntur district.

Kalva Srinivasulu is likely to be the Deputy Speaker of Assembly.

On the other hand, Pathiwada Narayanaswamy Naidu took charge as Pro-Tem Speaker of AP Assembly.

Senior leaders Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy or Kagita Venkat Rao will be declared as Chief Whip.

YSR Congress demanded TDP to make a Opposition Party MLA as Deputy Speaker. However, TDP ruled out such chances as there are lot of aspirants from within the party.
