HE was reluctant to accept the Post: Venkaiah's Wife

Family Members of Venkaiah Naidu have been in a celebration mood ever since they came to know about his nomination as NDA's Vice Presidential Candidate.
Asked about when did she came to know about the elevation, Venkaiah's Usha replied: 'Discussions has been happening since the past one week. But, He is reluctant to accept the post and have plans to return to his native place after 2020. He is firm on his stand even before the Parliamentary Party Meeting despite so much pressure. Towards the end of the conversation, I was told by him that he can't say no if PM is very particular about it'.
For Venkaiah Naidu, Family comes only after Country & Party. So, It's never easy for someone like him to end ties with Party all of a sudden. That's when Family Members had given him the courage to move ahead.
Ms Usha says none of the Family Members expected Venkaiah to become Vice President one day. She feels this could be an opportunity for him to spend enough time with family members.
Venkaiah Naidu's Wife states Swarnabharathi Trust is like a 3rd Child for her Husband. She claims to be a huge fan of her hubby's rhyming and timing.
