The national capital Delhi became one of the unsafe places for women after the sensational Nirbhaya case. Not just in the country Delhi is also seen as an unsafe place and tourists are reportedly warned to not take any risk here. Yet again a heinous crime came to light in the national capital.
In a spine-chilling incident, a man reportedly killed his lover and chopped her body into pieces. Though the incident happened a few months back it came to light recently as per the information. The accused is said to have dumped the body parts of the victim he chopped at multiple locations.
As per the media reports, the Delhi Cops arrested a person who is identified as Aftab Poonawaala as the accused in the case. The accused and victim are staying together reportedly. An argument over marriage broke out between them and the accused killed the victim. To get rid of the case he chopped the body and dumped it.
The victim Shraddha Walker works at a call centre. With their daughter not answering their calls, their parents reached Delhi and found that their daughter was not present in her rented house. After inquiring about the locals her parents reportedly moved the cops and filed a complaint against the accused.
The investigation led the cops to the accused and he was arrested. Further investigation is underway and more details are awaited. It is said that the body of the victim is yet to be recovered by the cops.
If we have to take anything from the reports, the accused stored his girlfriend's body at their house for a few days. Later he allegedly chopped the body parts and dumped the body parts at different places. But the complaint made by the victim's parents made him get arrested.
