BJP MP Hema Malini received flak for sharing on location pictures of her upcoming movie on Twitter after 24 people got killed in her Mathura constituency due to violence over evacuation of people from a portion of land.
On Saturday, The Actress-turned-Politician advised people to blame UP CM Akhilesh Yadav for the violence in Muthura instead of her because its the responsibility of State Government to make sure law & order is under control. 'Law and Order is State Government's responsibility. Why target me? I'm doing my job. How could Parliament be held responsible for the violence? Media seems to be diverting attention from the main issue,' she opined.
Hema Malini claimed to have cancelled all her film shoot to reach Mathura soon after she came to know about the incident. 'I'm in Mathura for the past 10 days. This incident happened the next day I left Mathura,' explains the Dream Girl.
