I am not a Land Grabber!

BJP Government alloting 2,000 square metres of land in Mumbai's suburban Andheri to Hema Malini's dance school Natyavihar Kalakendra Charity Trust for nominal price of Rs 70,000 triggered a huge controversy.
Responding on the allegations of land grabbing, Hema Malini told: "I haven't grabbed the land. The Government has given it to me. Why speculate, when I myself was unaware of the price I have to pay for the land. All the rules will be followed and I'm ready to pay whatever price Government might quote".
The BJP MP ridiculed Media for making the land she sought for her Dance School a National/International issue. She appealed media not to make it a political issue by saying the land was finally allotted to her after 20 years of struggle.
In return to 2,000 square metres land allotted for her Dance School, Hema Malini has to built a garden covering 27,000 square metres land at Ambivali in Andheri and handover it to BMC.
