Heritage delivers a stunner

TDP Chief and Andhra CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu's owned food company heritage has set itself on super-fast track growth.
The company has shown double profits by the end of its first quarter this fiscal year. Heritage Foods Ltd reported a twofold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 10.71 crore in the first quarter.Heritage has released its first quarter results yesterday evening and it has stunned with superb figures.
Compared to last years figures, these are double (figures of 10.71 crores as against 5.29 crores during the same time last year). The company officials expressed happiness over the growth and said there is a steady up in the turnover of dairy and bakery products.
Total income of the company increased to Rs 578.45 crore in the April- June quarter of the 2015-16 fiscal as against Rs 505.76 crore in the year-ago period.The company has three other business segments -- bakery, agriculture and renewable energy. Nara Brahmini is looking after Heritage business after Lokesh moved into active politics.
