Hero Nani eyes Superstar's Remuneration
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Feb 2013 1:38 PM GMTThe other day, Hero Nani was at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai for the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. He had a lengthly chat with the film's producer and renowned director Aditya Chopra regarding their project.
When the production staff informed him about the fact that his costume measurements were similar to that of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh, Nani surprised them with his reply. "They told me my costume measurements are same as Shahrukh Khan. I told them I wish even the remuneration was same," shares the actor on his micro blogging page.
Nani has got the talent and determination to get into the big league, but it's too early to dream for a pay package on par with a global star like Shahrukh Khan. Only scoring consistent hits for years could attain such demigod stature.
Yash Raj Films is stepping into South with the Telugu-Tamil remake of 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. What came as a shock to hero Nani and the makers of the film is the recently released Telugu flick Jabardasth which is loosely based on the same Bollywood film. Nani, how would you overcome this big hurdle?
