Popular Kollywood hero Vishal is a strong critic of the Union Government. He had openly questioned GST and other decisions taken by the Narendra Modi-led Centre. Coming to the recent Cinematography act too, Vishal had opposed the act and called for the callback of the controversial act.
Contrary to his equations with the Union Government, Vishal's father GK Reddy was picked as the brand ambassador for the Fit India Movement. The messaging confirming the appointment was reportedly sent to the popular producer.
For the unversed, the Fit India Movement was launched by the Centre on 29 August 2019. The motto behind starting the program is to encourage people to take up physical activities and sports as their daily routine.
It is said that the director of the Fit India Movement in the message sent to the filmmaker said that the reason behind choosing him as the ambassador is that he is a fitness freak and he can motivate and encourage people to take up fitness.
