Heroine turns Rape Victim for fans

Nithya Menon is playing a rape victim in her upcoming Telugu and Tamil bi-lingual Malini 22. Interestingly, She claims to have signed the film for her fans.
Recently, Nithya took part in a live interview program in FM Station. During this phone in program, one of her fans asked her to do woman-centric films and another girl appealed her to do a film on rising atrocities against the women in the society.
In the interview to a daily, Nithya said she remembered the words of her fans when she heard the story and immediately agreed to play the rape victim. Malini 22 is a film based on how a girl takes her revenge against the accused after she was raped multiple times. It's a hard-hitting film and Nithya gets a lot of scope for performance.
