Hyderabad High Court issued a stay on the Land Acquisition taken up by AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Undavalli.
High Court ruled: 'As per Land Acquisition Act, Acquiring Land without modifying the Market Value is unacceptable. AP Government & CRDA has violated the rules'.
Kannarao Naidu and P Ranga Rao, who hails from Undavalli, moved High Court against the Land Acquisition. Justice MS Ramachandra Rao accepted the petition. Complainant has brought to the notice of High Court that CRDA hasn't issued any notices to the people of Undavalli regarding Land Acquisition.
When AP Government's Counsel submitted papers related to Land Pooling, High Court questioned how could Land Pooling and Land Acquisition be one and the same. Order has been passed by the High Court imposing a stay on Land Acquisition in Undavalli for violating the norms.
