High Court Extends Stay On Chennamaneni Citizenship Case

Earlier his citizenship was canceled by the Central Home Department. Following this, he has moved the High Court which gave a stay on the Home Department orders.
The High Court ordered to not take any decision on Ramesh's Citizenship until four weeks.
In his plea, the petitioner said Ramesh enjoys the Citizenship of Germany and India too. Ramesh's Lawyer said he has canceled the Citizenship of Germany. With this, the High Court asked the Petitioner to produce evidence of both Citizenships. The case was postponed to four weeks asking the petitioner to produce a complete affidavit with all the required evidence.
In his Petition, Ramesh said "Central Home Department's orders are against the Constitution and Law. The Central Home Department did not consider the orders given by the High Court to take Section 10(3) of the Citizenship Law into consideration, but the department did not follow this".
