The farmers of the Amaravati region are not showing any sign of slowing down in fighting for the capital. The farmers embarked on a massive yatra in the past and they are gearing up for another big yatra. The yatra will be started from Amaravati and will be finished in Arasavalli. The yatra will be started on the 12th of this month.

The farmers moved the Andhra Pradesh high court to seek permission for the yatra. Hearing the petition, the High Court granted permission for the yatra. The state police department was directed to grant permission to the farmers.

The High Court granted permission for 600 farmers to take part in the yatra. Having said that, the Andhra Pradesh High Court issued directives for the farmer bodies and police to give ID cards to farmers who will participate in the yatra.

Saying that the permission was granted with a few restrictions, High Court asked the petitioners to apply for permission for the meeting, which will be held on the last day of the yatra. The Police department was directed by the High Court to look into the permission sought by the Amaravati farmers.

The petition filed by the Amaravati farmers was heard by the High Court for two days. During the hearing, the Court made some interesting comments. It is said that the High Court asked the cops why they can't offer security for just 600 farmers. On the occasion, the High Court cited the example of Delhi where farmers protested and permission was granted.
