High Court Grants Big Relief To TDP Narayana!
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Sep 2022 3:51 PM GMTDue to various reasons, the ruling YSRCP strongly believes that the Telugu Desam Party which was in power in the last term might be involved in many wrongdoings in land allotments and land grabbing for the Amaravati capital row. Earlier, the government made a failed attempt to prove that insider trading happened.
However, the government is not leaving the issue. A CID case was filed in the past and the investigation is underway. A few TDP leaders including former Minister Narayana were named as the accused in the case. The High Court of Andhra Pradesh issued key orders today.
Narayana moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking anticipatory bail as he is not having good health and he needs treatment. Under the same grounds, the court granted him bail. The lawyer representing the government said, he is the main accused and he should not be granted bail.
But the Andhra Pradesh High Court did not consider the arguments and granted him bail. It is a big relief for Narayana who was a Minister in the previous government led by Telugu Desam Party.
The CID filed a case in the Amaravati issue on the doubts of alleged irregularities in land grabbing. There are strong allegations that the assigned lands were misused when the land was grabbed for the proposed Amaravati capital. A few TDP leaders including former Minister Narayana were named as the accused.
