Huge setback to JC Brothers in High Court
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 July 2017 8:15 AM GMTAP Government offered a clean chit to Diwakar Travels owned by JC Brothers in the road mishap which killed 11 passengers at Mulapadu in Krishna District. An affidavit was submitted in the Hyderabad High Court in this regard.
Whereas, Telangana Government reported to High Court about the violations of Diwakar Travels. Taking them into consideration, High Court asked AP Government to submit a fresh affidavit by mentioning facts. The actual truth has been disclosed by the TDP Government following this setback.
In the revised affidavit submitted to High Court, AP Government found fault with Diwakar Travels in the Mulapadu road accident for violating the Motor Vehicle Act. It's been clearly mentioned that JC Brothers haven't bothered to implement rules such as Division of Work Load, Weakly Off and Yearly Off to the Workers. 'After Mulapadu Accident, JC Prabhakar Reddy's Wife Uma Reddy and Son Ashwath Reddy registered the names of 220 workers and 84 workers respectively on June 26th and 27th. All the travel agencies, including Diwakar Travels, which violated norms have been served notices,' informs AP Government.
