Could Vijay Be Dragged Into Yet Another Controversy?!

Actor Vijay, who is known as Thalapathy by his fans has been having some rough time this year. His film, Mersal has been dragged into controversy for his punchlines and dialogues against GST and private hospitals. BJP took the issue to National interest and the movie did got huge promotion due to it. But in the controversy, Vijay's religious sentiments and his name, Joseph Vijay has become the most important part.
Right now, the actor is planning for his next movie in the direction of A.R. Murugadoss and is busy getting into the shape required for the role. His father, SV Chandrasekhar, gave his full support to him, during the issue time and commented on BJP for unnecessarily bringing up the religious beliefs of them and their family into the foray. But now he might have dragged his son into another religious controversy unknowingly.
He commented on the religious offerings given by the people at Tirupathi Temple as 'bribes' and Hindu religious activists in Tamil Nadu took offence to it. They filed a petition to Madras High Court that the comments are derogatory and hurtful. They also claimed that their religious sentiments are hurt by him. Madras High Court took the petition and asked police to investigate on the issue and arrest SV Chandrasekhar, if he is found guilty, asked him to arrest for hurting religious statements and for deliberately giving an 'hate' speech against religious beliefs.
