The big surprise for the film lovers is that Trisha has emerged as the highest paid actress down South with her upcoming women-centric flick. She has done it after staying in the Industry for 10 years and at the time when she going through a slump.
While MS Raju shelled out over Rs 1 crore to cast Trisha for RUM, it's now the turn of producer PVR Raju to acquire the call sheets of the beauty for a whooping Rs 1.6 crore for his female-centric flick. The producer justifies paying whooping remuneration for the Trisha as his film needs such powerful performer and he hopeful making a moolah using the popularity of the actress in Andhra, Tamilnadu and Kerala.
Until now, Ileana used to claim the top spot with a pay package of Rs 1.5 crore for Shankar's Snehitudu (3 Idiots South remake). The senior actress successfully surpassed her junior by a margin of Rs 10 lakh.
