Taj Mahal was originally a Shiva Temple?

Ever since Uttar Pradesh Government ousted Taj Mahal from the State's Tourism Booklet, The World Wonder kept making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Recently, A UP BJP Leader dared to say that the monument is a blot on Indian history. And now, Hindu Outfits came up with a strange claim.
The other day, A Group of 12-15 Youth representing Pro-Hindu Outfits (Rashtriya Swabhimaan Dal & Hindu Yuva Vahini) staged protest at the Taj Mahal in Agra. They raised chants of 'Shiv Chalisa' on the premises of Taj Mahal. In fact, The Group claims Taj Mahal was originally a temple of Lord Shiva. 'If Namaz can be offered at Taj Mahal, even reciting Shiv Chalisa was justified,' they argued when CISF Personnel raised objection.
Following the protest, CISF Personnel took the activist of Hindu Outfits into custody forcibly. They were released later after issuing a writer apology for holding protest and offering prayers in the premises of Taj Mahal.
