House Sites Distribution In Amaravati Electronic City?

Farmers from the Amaravati region are strongly opposing the decision taken by the Andhra Pradesh government. The Jagan government picked a few areas where the house sites will be distributed to the poor people in the capital city area to implement the decision. However, the decision became controversial. Opposing the decision the state government has taken, AP Parirakshana Samithi President Kolikapudi Srinivas Rao is going to sit for a hunger protest.
He announced that he will start his protest at the Ambedkar statue in Abbarajupalem in the capital Amaravati region. He said that it was mentioned in the Capital Region Development Authority & Capital Area(CRDA) Act that five percent of the land from the lands that are given by the farmers for the capital should be given to the poor people. However, Srinivas Rao said that 5024 Andhra Pradesh Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation houses were constructed by the previous government, however, the Jagan government put these houses aside and took a new decision.
He is alleging that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government is very adamant about giving house sites to poor people in the same region where the lands were allocated for industrial purposes in the Amaravati Master Plan.
