How CM Ramesh used a phone call to his advantage

Strange are the ways of the politicians!! They know to to politicize everything. We all know the assets of TDP MP CM Ramesh are being raided by the IT officials. Ramesh held a presser in Delhi to explain these raids on Saturday. Even as the presser was on, he got a phone call. From the conversation, one could make out that the callers were IT officials. Ramesh was heard saying he wouldn't accept Telangana officias as witnesses as the T government was 'inimical' to the TDP and the Andhras. He said that he has no problem if the witnesses were neutral.

Now, all this was audible and the whole conversation was telecast live giving an impression that the whole thing was cleverly stage-managed. Many felt Ramesh was playing to the gallery as normally, no politician would take phone calls while on a press conference. But, Ramesh not just took the call, but also spoke into the mike revealing every bit of the conversation.

So, Ramesh is clearly trying to tarnish the Telangana officials. He was also heard saying that the government was resorting to vendetta against TDP men. It is either a carefully planned ruse or some gullible official committed a gaffe. Whatever, CM Ramesh got the mileage he wanted and played martyr to the hilt.
