How Jagan Outwitted TDP On TTD?

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government avoided a major battle of perceptions with one deft decision. The party, led by a practicing Christian , is the sitting duck for the opponents. Whenever thereâs a religious issue, the government would be quickly targeted and the Opposition would use all its resources to call the Government's action a Christian conspiracy.
When a large number of Muslims tried to back the shopping contracts in Srisailam, the YSRCP government was blamed. The temple EO was proved to be a convert to Islam. The YSRCP government immediately transferred the official and cancelled all the contracts given to Muslim traders. Similarly, the issue of Christian converts working in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams came up. The real target was YS Jagan as he too is a Christian. The TDP rank and file and the media closer to the TDP took up the issue and tried to malign Jagan.
But, YS Jagan moved in quickly and through the chief secretary issued a statement ordering that no non-Hindu can work on Tirumala. The CS has even said that the TTD would conduct raids on suspected employees to see if they were practicing non-Hindu religion. The government's unequivocal stand has been welcomed by many devotees. In one stroke, he has assuaged the Hindu sentiment and ensured that the TDP plans fail. This timely decision of YS Jagan has ensured that the hurt Hindu sensibilities were immediately addressed. By his action, Jagan has won praise even from the BJP. Telangana's sole BJP MLA Raja Singh lauded Jagan's action and said he deserves to be complemented for his prompt action.
