How KCR Planned Kavitha's Election To Council?

There is an interesting argument going on in the TRS. Why did KCR not send Kavitha to Rajya Sabha and why has he made her contest from the local bodies constituency for the legislative council? Sources say, KCR wanted Kavitha to come back into active politics again but knows that Dharmapuri Aravind is too formidable a leader to fight against.
If Kavitha is made a Rajya Sabha member, Aravind would go to the town telling that she has won the election through backdoor methods. After all, with the kind of brute majority that the TRS has, her victory would be a no brainer. Aravind will use this to his advantage and try to project him as a people's leader and Kavitha as a political scion. So, KCR made her contest from the local body MLC constituency. The local body constituency has 824 votes, of which the TRS has 532, while the Congress and the BJP have 140 and 85 respectively. So, her victory would be easy but there would be a semblance of fight. The TRS can always say that she has won an election.
It is with this logic in mind that KCR has cleared the path for Kavitha. He made KR Suresh Reddy, another claimant for the MLC post, a Rajya Sabha member. Now that the road is cleared, he made Kavitha an MLC candidate.
