Without a doubt, Cricket is one of the sports that generate high revenue. Players and people who are associated with the sport get to see high income and after they stop playing the sport, they will be surrounded by a lot of issues and poverty. A popular umpire who stood as umpire in more than 100 international matches is now selling footwear and clothes.
Popular umpire based out of Pakistan Asad Rauf who has 170 films to his credit as an umpire started a new shop in Landa Bazar in Pakistan. His shop is into selling shoes and clothes.
He said that he has seen everything and as there is no one to look for him, he started this business and doing pretty well. It is a big shock that he is doing that business for a living.
No one knows how things could turn in life. No own would have thought including himself that after seeing greater heights as an umpire, he would be forced to open a shop in his home country.
His life turned upside down in 2016 when he was banned by the cricket governing body in India Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) post the fixing charges which were proved later. He was also accused by a model who alleged that on the pretext of marrying her, he reportedly sexually exploited her.
