How Parties Are Fighting Over This Photograph In Bihar?

Photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have become a bone of contention in poll-bound Bihar. Almost every-non Congress-RJD party, it appears, wants to use Prime Minister Narendra Modi's photographs for the election publicity. The latest case is that of Chirag Paswan's Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJP) using Narendra Modi's photos in its election campaign.
The LJP is in the NDA at the Centre, but is out of the NDA at the state level. It has fallen foul of Nitish Kumar and his JDU. The LJP has left the NDA in Bihar claiming that it was not given adequate number of tickets by the JDU. At the same time, it is flaunting its admiration for Modi and is showing his photographs on the campaign posters. What more, it had put up candidates against the JDU, Hindustani Awam Morcha and the VIP Party, but not against the BJP nominees.
Stung by this, HAM has asked the LJP to remove the photo of Modi from its campaign material. The HAM has said that it would lodge a complaint with the Election Commission on the issue. Now, the photo of Modi is becoming a point of friction between the two parties in Bihar.
