The Kapu leaders of the Telugu Desam Party have held a 'secret' meeting in Kakinada on Thursday. The meeting was so 'secret' that everyone knew about it and the media was in attendance in full force. What more? From the arrival of the leaders to their leaving, every pic was on the social media for everyone to see. The height of secrecy was when the Kapu leaders addressed a press conference at the end of the 'secret' meeting.
Kapu leaders like Thota Trimurthulu led the meeting and those who won and who lost were present at the meeting. Interestingly, the 'secret' meeting was held in a Kakinada hotel, which is a frequent haunt of politicians and mediapersons. So, the media contingent trooped to the venue much ahead of the arrival of the Kapu leaders. The meeting was held to discuss the future of Kapu politics and the future political options available to them. Kapu leaders are said to be in touch with BJP biggie Ram Madhav, who incidentally hails from East Godavari's Amalapuram, a well-known Kapu stronghold.
