Nandyal By-Election is the most debated topic in the recent past. Why because, Both Ruling Party and Main Opposition doesn't want to let go the opportunity which sends a message to people that they are the champions of 2019 General Elections.
Political Analysts have been dubbing this By-Election as a battle between Sympathy Wave & Morality. By-Poll is happening because sitting MLA Bhuma Nagireddy passed away ahead of the AP Cabinet expansion. So, TDP wants to capitalize on the Sympathy Wave. On the other hand, YSR Congress Leaders believe people of Nandyal will vote in favour of Morality why because Bhuma Nagireddy won on the ticket offered by Jagan in 2014 and Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy joined Main Opposition by resigning as MLC, whereas 21 MLAs who defected TDP haven't resigned till date.
Bettings have been happening in Telugu States on a large scale over the result of Nandyal by-poll. Punters have become active in Kurnool, Kadapa, Guntur, Krishna, West Godavari and Nellore apart from Hyderabad. Those who were involved in gambling have been conducting surveys in the poll-bound constituency.
